🎨 Can I request a custom hair color or glow braid to match my outfit?

Absolutely! Fill out our Custom Glow Braids Connection Form or DM me on Instagram. I love matching your vibe to help your light shine!  I offer three levels of custom glow braids, each level with more options and features depending on your desire for glitz and glam.  By completing our connection form (even if you're not quite ready to purchase yet), I can confirm the pricing of your custom Glow Braids and anticipated production timeline and ship date.

💡 How do the LED glow braids work?
Our Glow Braids use mini LED strands woven into synthetic hair. Each glowing braid is battery-powered and designed for safe, stylish fun.  The ON/OFF switch is hidden within your hairstyle. 

🔋 Are batteries included?
Yes, your Glow Braids come ready to shine! Most use standard coin style batteries or the style about the size of a pea that is sometimes used in hearing aids. Miss Behavior recommends ensuring you swap out the batteries for a fresh set every other time you wear the glow braids just to ensure overextended batteries don't dim your light.  Generally, Glow Braid batteries will last for 24-72 hours of wear.  This typically means that if you attend a 3-day music festival and have them turned on for 10 hours per night, you should be able to make it to the end without needing to swap the batteries, but it's always wise to be prepared just in case. 

💦 What if they get wet?

Glow Braids are water resistant in the sense that a light misting or rain should not have any noticeable effect. However Glow Braids are not water-proof and should not be submerged because this may cause damage to the battery pack and the integrity of the hairstyle. 

🔹 SHIPPING & PICKUP

📦 How long does shipping take?
Orders for items on hand typically ship within 1–3 business days.  Orders for custom creations made to your specifications typically ship within 7-10 business days after I've received your order, payment, and all customization desires are verified with you directly.  Standard shipping usually arrives in 3–5 business days. You'll receive a tracking number once your order is on the way.  

🌍 Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, but I'm working on it! Follow on Instagram @missbehavior.life for updates as we expand.  However, if you are an international customer that will be attending a festival in the US, we can ship straight to your hotel or the place you will be staying, and if it's a festival Miss Behavior is personally attending, we may be able to hand-deliver your order!

🧾 What’s your return policy?
Due to the handmade and wearable nature of our items that are often used for special occasions, all sales are final unless otherwise required by law. If there’s an issue with your order please reach out—I want you to be thrilled with your look!

💥 My item arrived damaged—what should I do?
Please email or DM me within 3 days of receiving your item with a photo or video clearly showing the problem. I’ll do my best to fix it or explore sending a replacement.

It’s about (mis)behaving in all the best ways: dancing hard, loving deep, glowing bright, and inspiring others to do the same.

The name comes from a truth I learned as a deep empath, neurodivergent badass, and special needs foster parent:

     "Misbehavior comes from an unmet need."
